The Child Marriage myth!!!

Let's just  give this a thought although the highest court has banned this in India, still not knowing the depth and dimension of what our ancestors meant while imbibing marriage as an institution in the culture-scape. Let's probe a little bit about this, why would the most ancient and advanced civilisation in the world would have kept this alive as a system. When mark Twain said," Everything that can be done by man & god is done in India" he meant it to the core. In the deeper sense of the meaning, let's ask why do we need marriage at the 1st place? The elders have a question mark on their face most of the times. Some become very practical and say to we marry to perpetuate our clan. Some say it's necessary. I personally believed it's just a way to cut down just grown wings of individuals. I came across a beautiful explanation for this and that is, it's not necessary we need to marry. Basically marriage is like moving from a bike to a car. A car has more maintenance, needs more fuel, everything still mostly people prefer a car over bike. You will say it's for comfort, more than that,it makes you feel stable. A bike has to be constantly balanced. You will be fed up of this balancing business some day so you move to a car. 4 wheels are better than 2. They say to go short distances you should go alone but it's always good if you have company for long journeys, like our very life. Anyways coming back to the topic, in those days the marriage of two premature was determined by the families and they used to get married after that the girl and boy would stay at their respective homes. The mangalsutra was made by intertwining 2 silk or cotton threads together one from the boys clothe and another from the girl'.These threads were consecrated with 2fundamental nadis of the boy & the girl and that was put on the girls body! Now nadis or energy pathways in the system they are responsible for the emotional balance of the human being. Now where er we go travel for work or any activity we will be absolutely clear about our relationship with the other sex at that place. Whatever interactions we do we know the limit.For the logical minds out there let me put it this way, from your childhood you have been told that this is the girl or boy for you and you will have complete responsibility over him or her.will the probability of you involving in other relationships decrease or not?if that probability is low your emotional quotient is good, would you be able focus better on your activity and be commited to it? If you answer these questions you will understand the fundamental reality. Unfortunately there have been vested interests along history and they have all distorted the essence of this fundamental principle but we cannot Deny that the principle in itself is genuine and was created to facilitate individual and social nourishment. In today's world of such high end technologies we are living in prisons of stress and anxiety, our emotional quotient and our stability of mind is lost because of constant exchange of information and dilution of individuality into unknown realms of the rat race!! As the society bleeds into cunning concoctions of rapes, suicides & riots. We are blind to the fundamental fact that individuals like you and me create this society. Our ancestors knew it and they had foreseen the times to come. I feel blessed to be born in this land I feel deeply disturbed to see this populace going leaps & bounds on criticism and slavery sitting on golden eggs of wisdom.
